Maybe you've tried outsourcing and got burned, or maybe you don't know enough about bookkeeping to confidently choose the right bookkeeper, or you just straight up want to be ignorance is bliss about your finances (I get it).
Even though you've been putting it off, you know that you probably shouldn't—because a business that doesn't stay on top of its books is a business that can't reach its full potential.
If you've been putting off your bookkeeping—for whatever reason—that changes now.
When your books are handled with care, it’s not just about staying organized. It’s about creating space—space to focus, space to rest, and space to show up fully in your business and your life.
That’s what I'm here for: dependable bookkeeping that works with your life, not against with it.
I've been obsessed with finance and business for as long as I can remember. I was the 7 year old reading and rereading "A Smart Girl's Guide to Money" and writing down different business ideas. I was the 10 year old who went door-to-door to market my trash can rolling business in my neighborhood (yes, really).
I've always loved organizing things and making numbers work but working 60+ hour weeks for a big accounting firm was something I knew I never wanted to do.
I finished my accounting and finance degrees during the lockdowns with a toddler in tow and pregnant with our second. (If you've ever tried to study for an exam with a little one at your feet asking for snacks, you get it.)
At that point, I wasn't sure what I was going to do with my degrees.
For years, I was a stay-at-home mom while my husband worked in the biotech industry.
We wanted more time as a family so we took a step of faith and I started Coyne Bookkeeping to build a life that prioritized what actually matters: faith, family, and balance.
That's when everything clicked. I could combine my love for finance and organization into a career that created the work-life balance we wanted, all while helping other business owners find that same freedom.
But I wanted this business to be different. I kept hearing the same things over and over. Bookkeepers who didn't reconcile monthly or even deliver accurate reports. Bookkeepers making costly mistakes that didn't surface until tax time.
I started this business with a simple promise: do the work right, communicate clearly, and provide actual support.
That means I actually respond to messages, explain what your numbers mean, catch mistakes before they become problems, and treat your business like it matters—because it does.
My husband and I both come from broken families, with childhoods marked by the strain of disconnectedness, and because of this, we understand how much value true relationships hold.
That's why family and relationships shape how I run this business.
I work with clients who value the same things I do: being present for the people who matter most, building something meaningful, and refusing to let work consume their lives.
This business exists so I can support small business owners while also showing up for what matters most in my own life. That's not just my goal for myself, it's what I want to help you achieve too.
That’s why I built Coyne Bookkeeping on four core values:
I follow through. Every time.
From reconciliations to reports, you can count on me to handle your books with accuracy and care.
Transparency in everything.
You always know what's happening with your books. I communicate proactively, explain clearly, and never leave you guessing.
Details matter.
I don’t just do the job—I do it well. Every transaction gets reviewed, every account gets reconciled properly, every time.
There’s a place for you here.
I remember your goals and treat your business with the same care I'd want for mine. You're never "just another client."
1. Watching The Office… again (it really is the best show)
2. Scrolling through photos of the kids literally taken an hour ago
3. Arguing with my husband about whether a word is allowed in Scrabble
4. Trying to finish a book I’ve been reading for months (but mostly just getting distracted)
5. Starting a new batch of kombucha and feeding the sourdough starter child
Let's make your bookkeeping one less thing to worry about so you can focus on what matters most—your business, your family, and the life you’ve worked hard to build.
